You would think\u00a0 that a random assortment of planets would make for a story that feels sort of, you know, random. I&#8217;m finally starting to relax and let down my guard.<\/p>\n<p>I have not yet seen any forms of &#8220;animal&#8221; life except for these underwater organisms<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Chadwickia-underwater.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-955\" src=\"http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Chadwickia-underwater.jpg\" alt=\"chadwickia-underwater\" width=\"1188\" height=\"876\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Chadwickia-underwater.jpg 1188w, http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Chadwickia-underwater-300x221.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Chadwickia-underwater-768x566.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Chadwickia-underwater-1024x755.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Chadwickia-underwater-500x369.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1188px) 100vw, 1188px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At one point I saw something deep underwater that looked like bones &#8212; a giant ribcage from a huge vertebrate?\u00a0 Uh oh, if there&#8217;s dead ones, there could be live ones nearby&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>On closer examination, though, they turned out to be random rock formations, not &#8220;ribs&#8221; at all.<\/p>\n<p>Are there any life forms here that we would call &#8220;animals&#8221;? In 3 hours of exploring, the only thing I have found that <strong>moved<\/strong> was this curled up plant-worm-scorpion thing. It lashed out at me as I walked by and sprayed me with a mist of toxic liquid.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/plant-worm-scorpion-thing.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-956\" src=\"http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/plant-worm-scorpion-thing.jpg\" alt=\"plant-worm-scorpion-thing\" width=\"1186\" height=\"645\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/plant-worm-scorpion-thing.jpg 1186w, http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/plant-worm-scorpion-thing-300x163.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/plant-worm-scorpion-thing-768x418.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/plant-worm-scorpion-thing-1024x557.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.horsetailnebula.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/plant-worm-scorpion-thing-500x272.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1186px) 100vw, 1186px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Toxic Squirt is the coiled up spiral thing on the far right.<\/p>\n<p>Could this be one of the few underwater &#8220;animal&#8221; life forms that made it onto the land?
